The next St. Mary's County Board meeting is scheduled for August 10, 2022 at 9:00 am. The agenda will be posted within 48 hours of the meeting.
All meetings are open to the public. The meetings are held at the St. Mary’s County Board of Elections, 23250 Hollywood Road, Leonardtown, MD 20650.
Public Participation: Members of the public may address the Board. Pursuant to §3.2C of the Board’s bylaws, public participation at a meeting must be pre-scheduled and pre-approved by the President. To request approval to speak at a board meeting, contact Wendy Adkins at 301-475-4200 ext. 1613 or by email firstname.lastname@example.org no later than 4 pm the day before the meeting.
The St. Mary's County Board of Election held an Emergency Meeting on June 16, 2022 at 3:00 pm for an emergency polling place change for the 2022 Primary Election. Greenview Knolls Elementary School located at 47511 Military Lane, Great Mills, MD 20634 is under construction and will not be operational for the July 19, 2022, Primary Election. The Board approved a "Temporary" move to Esperanza Middle School (Gym) located at 22790 Maple Road, Lexington Park, MD 20653. The Temporary move is awaiting final approval from the Maryland State Board of Elections. If you have any questions please contact Wendy Adkins at email@example.com.

Important: Political district boundaries are changing! Election officials are getting ready to make changes to County, State, and Congressional districts. District boundaries are adjusted every ten years based on how the population changes. New district plans are not yet final, but they will be soon.
