Tee It Up for Scholarships

Each year the Recreation & Parks Department offers a golf tournament at the Wicomico Shores Golf Course in an effort to provide children in St. Mary’s County the opportunity to participate in summer camps and sports at a discounted rate. In 25 years, the tournament has raised over $185,000 for scholarships so children experience fun, healthy and positive activities. The Recreation Division special events are self-supported without the assistance of government tax dollars. We rely on donations and support from local citizens and businesses to ensure the continuation of our diverse program offerings at an affordable cost to the participants.

We welcome you to participate with a golf team, providing sponsorship or by donating prizes. Registration opens each August so check out the sponsorship package offers and get a team registered!
