St. Mary’s County Recreation & Parks and the Scott Verbic Family are pleased to announce the 24th Annual Scott Verbic Memorial Golf Tournament which will be held on Friday, October 18, 2019 at Wicomico Shores Golf Course. Registrations for 2019 will open July 1, 2019. Team registration includes greens/carts fee for 4 golfers, breakfast, lunch, drinks on the course, and door prize entry.

Each year in memory of Scott Verbic, a former Recreation and Parks board member, coach, and advocate for the youth in our community, Recreation and Parks holds a memorial golf tournament.

The goal of Recreation & Parks is to provide the youth of the St. Mary’s County the opportunity to participate in fun, healthy and positive activities. As you may already know, the Recreation Division’s special events are all self-supported without the assistance of government tax dollars. We rely on donations and support from local citizens and businesses to ensure the continuation of our diverse program offerings at an affordable cost to the participants.

If you would like to register a team or for more information, please contact Darrick Sesker at 301-475-4200 *1803.
