Development Services

Development Services is responsible for processing and reviewing subdivision and site plan proposals, coordinating development review comments from the Technical Evaluation Committee (TEC) agencies preparing case files, agendas, legal advertisements and reports for the Planning Commission and the Commissioners of St. Mary's County, providing secondary support to the Board of Appeals. In addition, the division is responsible for responding to inquiries from developers, engineers, surveyors and landowners regarding the requirements of the plan approval process.
