Groundbreaking Ceremony Held for Phase V of Three Notch Trail June 29, 2010

 

The Board of County Commissioners and the Department of Recreation Parks hosted a Groundbreaking Ceremony for Phase V of the Three Notch Trail on Tuesday, June 29, 2010. Attendees included: the Commissioners; Delegate John F. Wood, Jr.; Hammad Matin, Southern Maryland Field Representative for Senator Ben L. Cardin; Recreation and Parks Board members Julie Lemmon, Tom Nelson and Bob Hicks; Roz Racanello from the So. MD Heritage Area Consortium; Jim Swift, Dan Donahue from the Friends of the Three Notch Trail; members of the Chesapeake Bay Running Club; members from the Pax Velo Cycling Club; and other citizens were present to celebrate the groundbreaking for the next phase of the recreational trail.  Associated Media Release.
