TEENS, BECOME A VOLUNTEER!
Have a blast with the past!
If you are student that must fulfill community service hours
for school, consider becoming a member of the Teen Volunteer
League. You will have an opportunity to work with artifacts
that have been excavated from St. Mary’s County and witness
the behind the scenes operations of preserving a historical
lighthouse. As a volunteer you will be trained to work as a
professional in the Collections Management Area of the Museum.
You
must be at least eleven years of age to be a part of the Teen

The League is
looking for people to assist
museum staff with group tours, special events and the gift shops
at the St. Clement’s Island Museum
and the Piney Point Lighthouse Museum.
Time is one's
greatest asset! Use your
spare time where it will be
appreciated. Join our family of volunteers at the annual
Volunteer Appreciation Night! Our volunteers have given 1000’s of
valuable hours to our Museums contributing to the quality and
personal attention given to our Museum experience.
