the marathon runners as they pass his house on Lighthouse Road.
Daddy Jim Lumpkins, not in the picture but close enough to dutifully
watch his son, noted that Steven was clapping at the front door for
the runners and wanted to be closer to cheer them on. |
Volunteer Glen Havens worked the water station
at the Piney Point Lighthouse offering water, a sports drink or
gummy bears to runners as they pass by. Glen is the son of April
Havens, site supervisor for the Piney Point Lighthouse, Museum &
Historic Park. |
