The Potomac Jazz & Seafood Festival
attracted recreational boaters to its riverside venue. Some boaters
were members of the Prince William Yacht Club who traveled from many
miles up the Potomac River to enjoy a great evening of food, music,
and riverside ambiance. |

Sandra Y. Johnson of Washington, D.C.
opened the festival at 4 p.m. sharing an array of upbeat jazz
standards and sassy, soulful ballads. |

Dazzling the crowd at 6 p.m. was
Philadelphia's Walter Bell & The Latin Jazz Unit. Walter is a
masterful flutist whose Latin jazz style and hypnotic rhythms
presented a performance to remember. |

The other star of the show is seafood! Catering by Lenny's
Restaurant, Bear Creek Barbecue, and Blue Wind Gourmet offered an
array of food choices from crab cakes, to rock fish, to oysters, to
ribs! There is always something for everyone! AND it's delicious! |

National recording artist Gregg Karukas provided the
head line entertainment at 8 p.m. Gregg got up-close and personal
with the crowd using a portable keyboard to wind his way through
the audience and in front of the stage. |

The crowd went wild when Gregg Karukas and
saxophonist Brad Collins both played off stage dueling their
dynamic jazz guns at ten paces. The crowd loved selections from
Gregg's latest CD Looking Up yet didn't disappoint by
playing old favorites. |
