The Friends of the St. Clement's Island & Piney Point Museum
presented their annual interactive murder mystery dinner at a new
location: Olde Breton Inn, Leonardtown, MD. Carol Cribbs and Friends
secretary Ann Davis check in all the "suspects" as they arrive.
|
Auctioneer A.J. Bussler works the crowd during the live auction,
creating bidding wars and rivalries among the bidders.
|
Patsy Bailey, proprietor of Olde Breton Inn and Bailey's Catering,
fries oysters for the buffet. They were the culinary hit of the
evening!
|
Crystal Ellington (played by Museum Division staffer Kim Cullins)
returned to solve yet another murder on this year's murder mystery
"Murder They Vote," written by Barbara Fox. Thanks to Carol Cribbs
who sheltered Crystal from the rain mentioned in the script.
|
Dinner guest Joe St. Clair portrays one of the political candidates
in the story, Texas senator Bobby Thornton, who gives up his best
Nixon imitation.
|
The entire list of suspects are rounded up and seated at the front
of the room. Crystal and the detectives (men standing) work through
the clues and details to point out the identity of the murderer.
