U.S. Senator Ben Cardin Visits SCIM - September 5, 2008

 U.S. Senator Ben Cardin visited St. Mary's County with a planned trip to see the recently-completed replica of the Blackistone Lighthouse on St. Clement's Island. High winds prevented boat transportation to the Island however a presentation about the lighthouse project was made inside the museum. Pictured inside the museum's meeting room are, from left to right: St. Mary's County Commissioner President Francis Jack Russell, Senator Cardin, Blacksitone Llighthouse project manager Don Cropp, Commissioners Kenneth Dement and Thomas A. Mattingly, Sr.
