Another sell-out crowd gathered on the lawn for the 9th annual
Potomac Jazz & Seafood Festival. A refreshing breeze that lasted
into the evening kept everyone cool on this hot summer day.
|

First on stage was Maryland's own Marcus Mitchell who wowed the
audience with his dynamic saxophone skills.
|

Next up were the Urban Jazz Coalition from Columbus, Ohio, who
debuted some material from their brand new CD entitled "A New Day."
|

Festival headliner, national recording artist Nick Colionne,
gave the audience a dynamic performance they won't soon forget.
Nick, once again, won over his loyal fans while winning over
many new fans with his guitars skills and incredible vocal
rendition of "Rainy Night in Georgia." Nick's band was tight,
the moon was bright, and the show... outta sight!
|

The crowd jumped to their feet to move and groove to the sounds of
the Urban Jazz Coalition, a warm-up for the much anticipated final
act, Nick Colionne.
|

The other "highlight" of the festival was the many delicacies
served by the food vendors: oysters, fish, shrimp and crab and
more!
