Wicomico Shores Golf Course is an 18-hole course, owned and operated by St.
Mary’s County Government. The Clubhouse, overlooks the expansive course, abundant wildlife, wooded areas and the scenic
Wicomico River.

 The
generously sized greens, level fairways and a variety of hole designs
will provide a challenge to players of all abilities. Par for the course
is 72 for all, with the back tees measuring 6397 yards with a slope of
121, and a course rating of 70.0. Yardage for the regular tees is 6110,
sloped at 118 and with a rating of 68.7. Senior tees yardage is 5524,
with a slope of 109 and rated 66.2. Forward tees have a yardage of 5320,
with a slope of 119 and rated 69.2.
Group and individual outings may be reserved
depending upon availability. Formal and informal league play can be
enjoyed by novice or experienced players. Different leagues run through
the season; there is a men's league, ladies league and a mixed Friday
night league. Call now for details. Wicomico Shores recreational complex
boasts a public boat ramp and 150 ft. fishing pier, both strategically
located on the beautiful Wicomico River. For further information call

Recent & Upcoming Improvements
The Board of
County Commissioners has appointed members to the new Wicomico
Shores Golf Course Advisory Board. The Board will advise the
Commissioners on future planning and development, fees, policies
and related issues of golf course management.

From
Route 301 take Route 234 east approximately eight miles, turn right on Aviation Yacht Club
Road to Wicomico Shores Golf Course.
From Leonardtown: Take Route 5 to 234 west, turn left on Aviation Yacht
Club Road to Wicomico Shores Golf Course.
