Phase I of Chaptico Park, including the 9-field soccer complex and park infrastructure, is now complete.  Other phases may include equestrian trails and riding rings, hiking trails, basketball courts, tennis courts, and baseball fields - depending upon funding availability. The Southern Maryland BMX group, a private, non-profit organization, is managing and operating the BMX track in the park; please contact Lisa Bradford, President, Southern Maryland BMX, Inc. for additional information on the BMX track at (301) 672-0516 or businessalts@aol.com.

Patrons may use the on-site charcoal grill where provided; patrons may not bring their own charcoal grills to the park, but may bring in small gas grills.

All pets must be kept on a leash in parks. Pet owners are responsible for the actions of their pets and must clean up after pets.
