Advertisement There is limited advertisement space available at Chancellor’s Run Regional Park to display company billboards.  Companies may purchase a 4’ x 8’ billboard for $500; yearly renewal fee is $300.  Billboards will be displayed from mid-March through November each year.  At the end of the season, the billboards will be removed from fencing and stored.  This is an excellent way to advertise; thousands of people attend activities and events at the complex each year.  Please call (301) 737-5670 ext. 1670  for more information.

1. An employee will periodically be checking activities in the park and monitoring pavilion usage regulations. The park employee will return at an agreed upon time to collect equipment.

2. It is unlawful to consume alcoholic beverages in county parks, except by a permit issued from Recreation and Parks (R&P). Unless otherwise stated on the permit, alcohol usage is restricted to the Picnic Pavilion. See below for further information.

3. Where grills are available, please extinguish all charcoal fires before leaving the park.

4. ABSOLUTELY NO OPEN CAMP FIRES. Citizens may bring a personal gas grill to the park; however personal charcoal grills are not permitted.

5. Medical Insurance is not provided. Park usage is at your own risk.

6. To receive a refund, pavilion cancellations must be made, in writing, at least four (4) weeks prior to reserved date. No other refunds, including inclement weather, will be considered.

7. Parks close at sunset. Users must be out of the pavilion at the designated time unless R&P grants special permission, in writing.

8. Please dispose of all trash and refuse in receptacles.

9. If you anticipate using a ball field, you should obtain a field permit. Organized youth and adult leagues and groups with a permit have priority in use of the ball fields.

10. Please bring your pavilion rental receipt, letter of confirmation and Alcohol permit with you on the day of your event.

11. Equipment bags must be returned to the park attendant. If for any reason the park attendant is not present at the time of your departure, please place the bag in one of the restrooms.

Inclement weather refunds are given if R&P cancels a reservation.
