Patuxent
Park
Revitalization Project

 Phase
One of this project began in July 2009 and will include the
reconstruction of roads, sidewalks, storm drainage,
stormwater management and water/sewer lines for Midway Drive
(from MD 246 to Bunker Hill Drive), Gambier Place, Princeton
Drive and Bunker Hill Drive. Construction of Phase 1 is
scheduled to take 10 months.

Patuxent Park Revitalization Project - Phase 1
Construction Update for July 2010
|
Work hours are from 6am to 8 pm, Monday thru Saturday for Midway Drive, Princeton Drive, and Gambier Place; and 6 am to 4 pm, Monday thru Friday for Bunker Hill Drive.
“No Parking” signs will be posted 2 days prior to work
beginning on each street.
*All work is weather permitting*
Midway
Drive (from MD 246
to
Bunker Hill Drive)

Line striping of the pedestrian crosswalk,
located near Bunker Hill Drive, will be
installed during the third week of the
month. Work may require the temporary
closure of one lane of traffic during the
daytime as needed.

Gambier
Place (from
Midway Drive to the
end of Cul-de-sac)
No work is scheduled for this month.
Princeton Drive
(from
Midway Drive to the
end of T-Turnaround)
Tree and stump removal will occur along the
western side of the roadway on July 15th
and July 16th. Grading and
concrete sidewalk installation in the same
location will occur during the third and
fourth week of the month. Work may require
the temporary closure of one lane of traffic
during the daytime as needed.

Bunker Hill Drive
(from
Midway Drive to
Nicolet Park
entrance)
Line striping of the parallel parking stalls will occur on the eastern
side of the roadway, between the Beth Israel Synagogue and the Verizon
building, during the third week of the month.
