The mission of the Human Resources Department is to administer the policies and procedures adopted by the Commissioners of St. Mary's County. We are committed to providing quality services and support in the areas of employment, training, employee relations, benefits, safety, and assisting our employees in a caring, trustworthy, and timely manner.
The Human Resources Department consists of a dedicated team of 8 full-time staff members who serve an employee population of over 700 full and part-time employees.
