-
maintains your County roads, bridges, traffic signage, resolves drainage complaints and provides snow removal;
Construction & Inspections
– inspects County capital projects and new subdivision roads, provides quality control through material testing, manages the pavement overlay and line striping programs;
Engineering
Services
and
Development Review
– are responsible for transportation planning, design, management of capital improvement projects, the County-wide mapping effort, technical review and permitting of proposed development;
Transportation
–
manages your St. Mary’s Transit System (STS), provides vehicle maintenance, fleet management, non-public school transportation and metro-mail services;
Airport
Operations
- plans and oversees all aspects of the Captain Walter Francis Duke Regional Airport at St. Mary’s; Administration
- provides fiscal support, grant administration and maintains all management information systems such as tipping fees, work orders, personnel, supply and inventory;
Solid Waste
and
Recycling
services include comprehensive planning, management of convenience centers, landfill construction / closure(s) and recycling operations.Building
